Got to go to bed.  I have pictures ready to go, but will post tomorrow.  I did however post an archive of Hedge Family holiday letters.  I started them in 1998, so I am just missing one.  Anyway, there is a link to the archive on the navigation bar reading “Holiday Letters”.

Potty training not going so good.  Bedtime for Tyler going really well.  Just made two completely homemade pumpkin pies down to roasting fresh pumpkin and making homemade crust.  Does that made me Martha Stewart?  You bet your ass it does!!  They taste great!

We are turning a corner folks!!  Gotta go – it is 11pm and Quinn is awake cause she poo’d.  Gotta go – Happy Thanksgiving!!

I feel good – du nu nu nu nunt!

Tyler slept from 7:45pm to 4am and had a brief awakening and then slept til 6:20am.  He is is a fabulous mood this morning.   I love having my sweet boy back….

This morning he poo’d in his underwear and showed no sign that he was even aware he had made an accident.  I am still learning his “about to” and “just did” signs, so I just wasn’t fast enough this morning.  You really do have to watch them like a hawk.   Anyway, he didn’t say “uh-oh” or “poo-poo” or anything.  Showed no awareness – maybe because he was in the middle of play?

I am not giving up – it is a short week and I kind of like this experiment.   Maybe by day 3 or 4, I would like to see some kind of “I need to use the potty”.  So far it has all been at my initiating…

Sleep 

After the tantrum I mentioned last night in bed, Tyler went back out like at 8:15 or so and slept straight till 6:15am and woke up win a fabulous mood.  It was one night, but we are hoping for more like that….

I have been taking tons of pics of the kids.  I have a cute on of Quinn in her exersaucer.  I will see if Chris will download from his camera soon.   There has been a lot of text and I hope to have more pictures than text soon!

It is sad to feel that way, but with a sick household, I am hoping that by Friday we will all be on the mend and will have a weekend to recuperate. It is so nice to have family so close. My parents came in for Tyler’s birthday party and seeing the sad shape we were in are staying an extra night to help me out. Chris’ folks have taken the reigns in Chase’ cancer treatment taking him to appointments and coordinating treatment. It really takes the pressue off of me.

I decided to attack this cold with homeopathic remedies. My Mom picked up a ton of different things at Sun Harvest that I am trying. Tonight I am buying a good reference book so I am armed with better information. Cold season is here and I want to be prepared. The throat remedy definitely worked as my voice is back and my throat feels fine. I like the principals of homeopathy and believe in the bodies instincts and ability to heal itself. The body is really amazing. Look at birth, it is a 100% natural process and is actually very complex.

Alright, as much as I want to blog, I am so tired and need to go. At some point, we will get back to “normal” around here….
