Fun at the Guads

This Spring, I got to go on a big adventure with Mommy and Daddy, my girlfriend Piper, and Piper's family. We got in our cars and drove real far to the Guadalupe Mountains. Here Piper's giving me a big hug because we're so happy to be out of the car and in the mountains!

Hey Mommy, wait for me!

While it was in the upper 80's during the day, by evening it was very chilly. Particularly because we were all in a tent. Fortunately, I was covered head to toe in fleece, so I stayed toasty warm the whole time. Here I am trying to work the walkie-talkie to call for room service.

Taking a quick breather out on the trail. I'm planning on hiking all by myself to the top of the mountain in the distance.

One chilly morning in my fleece jester outfit.

Out on the trail, I bumped into a ferocious deer. Before the deer could eat Mommy or Daddy, I pointed at it and told it to "go away!" Then the deer and I proceeded to stare each other down for 10 minutes or so while Mommy made us lunch.

Here's a picture of Mommy at 32 weeks hiking up to El Capitan. I was on Daddy's back the whole time navigating and finding cacti.

That's a long way down Mommy.
