Tyler has started to do the cutest thing lately. He puts his hand on everything and opens and closes his hands quickly in a scratching motion. For example, he will put his hand on the boppy while nursting and scratch three or four times. It is a real quick scratch, scratch, scratch. I absolutely love it!

** STAR WARS SPOILER WARNING - DON’T READ IF YOU HAVEN’T SEE IT **
So, my co-worker and I conjured up a “team outing” so that we could go see Revenge of the Sith Friday. Halfway through the movie, I kept thinking - “Boy, this advocates safe sex doesn’t it?” If Padme hadn’t gotten pregnant, he wouldn’t have dreamt about her dying in childbirth and wouldn’t have turned to the dark side to save her. See, ladies your sweet love muffin could freak out and try to take over the world. :-p Anyway, the movie was excellent and did a great job of knitting the whole story together. We watched the original Star Wars this weekend and the connections were perfect. To hear Obi-Wan talk about Darth Vadar…it was cool. I also laughed because we watch Annikan being trained over three movies and Obi-Wan dies after one lesson with Luke! (I know - there is later training with Yoda)

Anyway - good stuff…

LONDON - Washington promised an investigation on Friday into how pictures of Saddam Hussein in his underpants were splashed across the front-page of Britain’s biggest-selling daily newspaper. The imprisoned former Iraqi leader appeared on the front of the Sun, naked except for a pair of white briefs and holding a pair of trousers in his hand.

Yeah, don’t know if the Muslin world will share a chuckle over this one….however, I am sure most of us will. Personally, the headline “Bush promises probe into Saddam underwear pictures” cracks me up. It sounds like something akin to the Janet Jackson Superbowl scandal.

Well, it is almost midnight and I SHOULD be in bed. It is lonely though…Star Wars is just about to start for Chris. I kind of wish I had brought Tyler upstairs to sleep tonight. Oh well, Chris will be back around 3am or so. Thought I would blog a bit.

Ya know, every single thought I had to post has left me….I am staring at the screen. I guess I should just call it a night, huh? It has been a crazy day and night and the next couple of days will continue like that. Fine, rest it is.

Well, Chris had the midnight premiere of Stars Wars on the calendar for months and I found out last week that Olivia’s Big Brother Big Sisters Scholarship ceremony was the same night. What to do with the baby? Well, Tyler’s Aunt and Uncle saved the day. Sounds like they had a great evening with him. I told Bryan (we have both recently seen Meet the Fockers) that they had to hang around him more and get in his “circle of trust” before his separation anxiety sets in! :-p Here are some older photos of Tyler’s aunt and uncle hanging out with him. Sounds like Tyler charmed the pants off of them!
