Happy Halloween everyone! Here is it Sunday night….bummer. For obvious reasons, I am having much more fun getting stuff done at home these days, so the start of a work week is kind of a downer. This weekend was nice. Hung out with a new friend who is pregnant and 2 weeks ahead of me. We did some mommy pampering, had lunch and compared nursery setups. Was really relaxing to just hang out for the day. I was getting a little carried away and becoming militant about my ongoing “things to do” list. It was a nice to just take a day to remember that I need to be spending this time enjoying my friends and husband…..

This week should be fun with the elections. Tuesday night we are going to a friend’s house for an election party where they will have Bush beer, Nadar tots and Heinz-Kerry ketchup! They are doing an electorate pool like an old fashion football pool and will have 2 TVs going – one on Fox and the other on Daily Show… Will be interesting to see how and when this thing turns out…

We are getting excited – 6 weeks to go. It has really flown by! We are getting to excited to meet this little guy. It is getting late and we still need to eat dinner.. Talk to you guys later!

Just hanging out watching the Sox beat the Yanks in Game 7. Charles and Andy are hanging out watching the game. It is a nice distraction. I would otherwise be running around trying to get stuff done. Just nice to sit and do nothing for a while. So wierd – the hardest thing for me to do is to stop and think or stop and relax for a while. I am really trying to make a concerted effort to do both. The first because I get some really good ideas and do some really good work when I do and the second because, ya know, it is kind of nice to stop and enjoy life once in a while. Looking forward to Tyler gettin’ here, because I will have an additional reason to stop and enjoy things. Both Chris and I will. Anyway – got little sleep last night, so I plan to turn in as soon as the game is over.

Oh, Jon Stewart and the Daily Show crew’s America: The Book is hilarious by the way. It has been a while since I laughed so hard!! I was seriously worried I was going to hurt the baby I was laughing so hard!! Highly recommended.

Hey all -

Well here we are in 2004 and Chris and I are expecting a baby in less than 2 months! As you may have noticed, we haven’t been very good about updating this site, but that is about to change. I said that last year, but I mean it this time! I have been shedding volunteering commitments with the exception of one and am wanting to spend more time with our family and amazing friends. That includes lots more communication and sharing through this web site, email, phone , etc.

We are very psyched about Tyler arriving. I feel blessed that the pregnancy so far has been really easy for me. I am starting to have more discomfort in my last trimester, but it is nothing compared to some. A woman in my childbirthing class is in the hospital on bedrest and will be induced in a couple of days due to preclampsia – she is at the same stage in her pregnancy as I am.

But I am going to redesign the site a bit. I want to integrate more of Chris’ site, make the design more flexible and get our pics updated. I don’t have a lot of time before Tyler gets here, but am going to try and be as productive as possible.

At the very least, I will keep posting. Please check back often….
