Sunny and 75 degrees… Great day to skip out of work and ride Lost Horizon!!

Never thought it would happen, but I have watched REALITY TELEVISION!! Turns out that I know one of the 25 bachelors on The Bachelorette. I worked with Rob (who, through 2 episodes is now one of just 8 remaining – go Rob!) while I was with BSG in Dallas. So while the whole concept of the show is disturbing, it’s still fun to see somebody you know on national television.

In unrelated events, I got a speeding ticket coming home yesterday, and the bastard cop wrote it up for more than he clocked me at!!! If I knew that Austin’s Finest (ha!) needed money so bad that they’d have to resort to lying…

I am pretty pooped right now. I have been coding away for most of the day. If I haven’t mentioned before, I am working on a contract right now that has me doing what I love! Woo-hoo! Also, I have to note that I have gotten the ball rolling on one New Years’ resolution – I am now signed up for a woodworking course at Austin Community College. The first section was full, so I am taking the 2nd one starting March 17th! Of course, now that I have actual work to do, the time to pursue all the fun stuff is dwindling. But I would much rather be crazy busy than bored ANY DAY!!

Happy New Year Everyone! Just got back home from a fabulous party at the home of our good friends Wes and Erin Gere. Yes, we are home early, but UT is playing at 10 AM and Chris will not miss a single second!! :-p For me, I am just reveling at having a clean slate…. this year has the potential to be an amazing one….woodworking classes, hopefully a new job, pursuing an idea to get political information to the masses, and maybe a pregnancy come the end of 2003. So I pray that I take the bull by the horns and the opportunities I have been given and make things happen this year. I hope the same for all for all of you! Let’s all kick butt and have a great 2003! :-p
